About Behej lesy

Since 2014 we have been sharing the joy of the forest adventure called Behej lesy. Running the eight races, participants get to visit unique locations and the most beautiful places in the Czech Republic. You can choose between two distances: shorter of around 12km and longer of around 21km. At the moment, Behej lesy also has ultramarathon courses, charity runs PVZP FénixRun and children’s races.

Among the attractions of the series is the normally closed Velká Amerika limestone quarry and Karlštejn Castle, the Lednice-Valtice Area, the formerly closed military area in Brdy, the lift which is part of the Behej lesy Bílá race as well as the summer version of Jizerská 50 with ultramarathon distance of 50km.

For the 2023 season, we have prepared a new Behej lesy race Klínovec, which just like the Bílá race contains a ride on a lift followed by running through the unspoilt landscape of the Krušné Mountains. The coming season will see the greatest novelty in the history of the series – Týmovka, a relay race for all fans of unexpected challenges.
