About the series and rules

ABOUT THE SERIES

Behaj lesmi is a series of 7 races in nature that will take racers on routes that are 80% on soft surfaces and 100% in the fresh air. Participants will explore unique locations in some of the most beautiful places of Slovakia with Behaj lesmi. The race offers shorter course of about 10 kilometers and a longer course of about 20 kilometers. For the beginners is ideal charity run, CHARITY RUN, which take about 5 km. Of course there are also children's races and team races.

There's so much to love about this series! The Devín Castle is a must-see, as is the fairytale village of Čičmany. The real wilderness of Veľká Fatra is a true gem, and the unique views of Kalvária and the whole town of Banská Štiavnica are simply breathtaking. The Treetop Trail is an absolute blast. And the most beautiful part saved for last, the magnificent castle in Smolenice.

In the Czech Republic, the series quickly gained great popularity among runners and the general public alike, and won several awards in trail running races across the country. What races can we expect in 2025?

    Tandem

Form a team consisting of one man and one woman in any kind of relationship and decide who will run the longer route and who will take the shorter one. The pair with the lowest combined time wins. Don’t worry about your individual time—racers in the Tandem team competition are also ranked in the individual races. Detailed rules are available below.

    Slowmotion

Create the largest possible team and select a route that suits each member. Unlike Tandem, the goal in Slowmotion is to achieve the highest total time. The team with the highest combined time wins. There is no limit to the number of team members. While it's not necessary to complete the race as slowly as possible, the key is to have as many team members as possible. Detailed rules are available below.

    Key Points to Remember

    • Team competitions are conducted for each race separately (not across the entire Behaj lesmi series).
    • Teams must register by the Wednesday before the race.
    • It is not possible to create or modify teams during on-site registration.
    • If one member of a Tandem team does not finish the race, the pair is disqualified. In Slowmotion, only the times of those who finish the race are counted.

HOW TO REGISTER?

Each team member must first register and pay the entry fee on Sportid.info. Then, create a Tandem/team in the My Applications tab within your account and invite your friends—or accept an invitation to join a team. Tandems or teams can be open (no approval required) or closed (invitation-only).

  5. If one team member does not finish, the pair will be disqualified from the Tandem competition. However, individual rankings will still apply.
  6. Tandem rankings are determined by the combined times of both team members. The goal is to achieve the lowest combined time.
